FreeAPIHub was born from a simple frustration: finding and integrating AI models was too complicated. As developers ourselves, we spent countless hours researching different AI providers, comparing APIs, and struggling with inconsistent documentation.
We realized that while AI technology was advancing rapidly, the developer experience around discovering and using these tools was fragmented. There had to be a better way.
In 2024, we set out to build the platform we wished existed – a central hub where developers could easily discover AI models, test them in an interactive playground, and integrate them into their applications with confidence.
Today, FreeAPIHub serves thousands of developers worldwide, from indie hackers building their first AI-powered app to enterprise teams scaling production systems. We're just getting started.
